The new magnet track sensor box SSB-R from Schmersal for position detection of electric monorails has been nominated for the AutomationsBest Award 2023. The outstanding feature of the sensor box is its precision: it can stop an electric monorail at the desired stop position with an accuracy of plus/minus 1.5 mm.

1 July 2023 marks a decade of Schmersal India's production facility. To commemorate this occasion, Schmersal invited to a jubilee celebration with channel partners, suppliers, customers, and employees, in the factory.

Oliver Strauch (left) and Jonas Pieper, both apprentices at Schmersal and at the same time students of electrical engineering, have reason to be happy: They received a scholarship for the academic year 2022/2023.

A veritable ‘tag-team’ of speakers, Heiko Bach and Tobias Keller from Schmersal, spoke at the CemProducer Conference 2023 in Munich in March about safety approaches and devices around bulk material conveyor systems.
